Last Saturday, on 26. April, the Copenhagen-based booking and management agency Djepéta Music and Surpreme Publishing presented Esben Svane and Chamber Junkie in concert at Huset-KBH.
It was an evening under the sign of debuts: Chamber Junkie performed his recent work live for the first time, and so did the band that Esben Svane had gathered around himself to support him for the upcoming gigs during summer.
“It was a special night for us, because it was the first time Esben was performing with his band and we were pretty excited to hear”, explains Jesper Thisgaard, one half behind Djepéta Music, “- fortunately it went really well, I think! It bodes well for the future!”
After a few twists and talks, Jimmy Andersen completed the planned showcase with his project Chamber Junkie: “I knew Jimmy’s old band – Among Relatives – to be really great, so I was very looking forward to hear what he had come up with this time. And I think it was great, too!”, says Jesper.
Indeed, both acts more than convinced the delighted audience! In the same combination they’ll be performing at Pumpehusets Byhaves Sommerkoncerter, which we listed among the Danish summer events you shouldn’t miss.
