"In a culture where partying, alcohol, and drugs often overshadow how people really feel, it's easy to ignore the underlying issues. But it's time to pull each other up instead of covering up the pain," admits Lærke Emilie.

Reflecting on personal experiences, she shares, "When I won KarriereKanonen, I had great momentum, but because my mother died in the middle of the process, I felt terrible inside. But I refused to show it. My social media was almost all about industry parties, colors, and happy days. I didn't want to miss anything. Because if you're not relevant, you're quickly forgotten, and if you say no often enough, the invitations stop coming."

With raw lyrics and cool beats, "Tæller Ik" is more than a song; it's a wake-up call to look beyond the party and into each other's hearts.

"I think the way forward is to be curious about each other's states of mind, and to make room for the fact that some of the party people might actually need help killing the mood once in a while - no matter what it takes. Because in the end, the big successes are worth nothing if you feel like shit in the meantime... I learned that the hard way,” says Lærke Emilie.
