Unstoppable and skilled Danish producer, Kasper Bjørke comes back with his fourth solo album “After Forever” (released on 22. September 2014) – and it couldn’t be more fulfilling and competent.
This production lacks the dancing elements found in his previous release “Fool”, however Kasper Bjørke explores new paths, still in the electronic line but this time a more experimental touch is added to his material, displaying his versatility once again.
Obscure synths invade his sound full of details and exceptionalism. 6 out of 9 of the tracks feature different guests, such as the talent Cecilie Trier (a.k.a. CTM) in the single “Sylvia” or Tobias Buch and Nomi Ruiz.
The opening track “Rush”, it’s a keen starter with a very mild beginning that turns into a desperate catchy tune with traces of the 80’s. Then “Sylvia” comes along with the stupefying synths and the soothing voice of CTM creating the perfect mix. These two are just a little taste of what can be discovered in Kasper’s work.
Outstanding tracks: “Rush”, “Sylvia”, “Lies”.
