Brian Batz, the multi-instrumentalist from Copenhagen, recently started sharing the music from the new upcoming album of his project Sleep Party People. After “In Another World”, we can now listen to another song from the upcoming release – “Floating Blood Of Mine”.
This time Sleep Party People gives us a somewhat shinier and lighter track. Still, you can find the characteristic vocals, which make the lyrics almost impossible to understand. The twisted charm of the music is still there in the song.
What’s new then? Surprisingly – basically everything! Brian Batz has a gift of creating a totally new reality with each Sleep Party People song. “Floating Blood Of Mine” is less spooky and mysterious than the earlier songs, but there’s still magic in it. Find out yourself!
The new Sleep Party People album “Floating” will be released in late May/early June 2014. You can catch the project playing this year’s SPOT Festival in Aarhus at the beginning of May.
