Denmark is a land of such talented women! One of them is Maja Barløse, known as Fjer. She amazes her listeners with her beautiful voice and great songs. Even though she has moved to New York some time ago, she stays Danish in her musical style. You can hear it by the gentle melancholy and subtle dark mood in her electro-soul compositions.
In the new video for her song “Children” she brings back memories of youth. The VHS filter refers to the late 80’s – all of those underlying delicate piano riffs, the great voice of Maja and the few electronic moments on the other hand, give the song a more modern sound.
