SPOTonDK-TMW2016

Calling all Danish music lovers at Tallinn Music Week! Just as last year, MXD Music Export Denmark, JazzDanmark, World Music Denmark and The Danish Rock Council ROSA joined forces to put together a diverse programme for their annual SPOT on Denmark event during the Estonian city festival. The event on 31. March 2016 will be once again a great opportunity to get to know some promising Danish acts.

The line-up offers a little bit of everything, a little bit for everyone, a true mixture of genres: from modern jazz by Maria Faust Sacrum Facere around Estonian-born saxophone player Maria Faust to indie folk-pop that is best enjoyed live with Heimatt, from exotic world music vibezzzz with OKAY FUNKY and visionary pop music by Danish darling Asbjørn to spherical indie-electronic by new act EXIL.

Good because Danish put together a special SPOT on Denmark @ Tallinn Music Week playlist on SoundCloud to give you a little preview of all artists featured. Listen to it below!

But that’s not all Danish news for this year’s Tallinn Music Week! Besides the artists mentioned above, the festival schedule is studded with other names coming from Denmark – such as Danish-African MC Black Daniels, heavy noisegazers Deadpan Interference, Danish-Icelandic project FURA, Copenhagen-based metal/rock act Helhorse, folk musician Jansberg, experimental Danish-Finnish band Liima, Aarhus noise rock group Narcosatanicos, modern violinist Nils Gröndahl, and funky R’n’B project Retro Future.  For more info and details make sure to have a look on the full festival schedule HERE.
