Virgin Suicide - Burnout

Indie dreamboats Virgin Suicide released another new song last week and, of course, it carries their signature dreamy vibe that we’ve grown to love so much.

Burnout” is a single from Virgin Suicide‘s upcoming, yet untitled album, and just like with previously unveiled “Twistor Space” and “You Hate The Way I Feel” the style doesn’t stray too far from their debut album. Slightly psychedelic melodies fueled by raw romantic energy with bittersweet lyrics – sounds like Virgin Suicide!

One listener, who was previously unfamiliar with the band, has confessed that listening to “Burnout” made him feel like watching a red sun going down on a summer evening, and nothing really matters, and it makes you weirdly happy. Is that the reaction Virgin Suicide are going for? If so, they’ve done the job perfectly, and we absolutely cannot wait for September to finally hear their new album in full.

In the meantime, listen to “Burnout” on Spotify.

You can also watch the interview Good because Danish’ did with them earlier this summer, to find out what the boys have been up to, and what to expect from them in the future!
