Trentemoller - Hands Down

Happy, happy days are passing through Good because Danish team’s speakers recently. One of this year’s headliners of Roskilde Festival, Trentemøller, has dropped a brand new single “Hands Down”. It is the first material he has shared since last year’s “Fixion” album release.

We have it from several days and what to say to warm you up it has such “Danishness” as all his previous singles do. Actually, Trentemøller can very well think about choosing singers to vocal-containing songs out what we knew from his latest masterpiece “Fixion”. As a guest for the “Hands Down” single he has featured jennylee – which is Jenny Lee Lindberg, the bassist of Warpaint. “Hands Down” production pairs perfectly with jennylee’s mighty voice, giving the track an intense level of emotion and characteristic Trente vibe.

The vibe which is also present on the very special “Trentemoller’s Blissed Out Mix” included on the single release. The re-worked version is filled with roaming affections that make you start to miss winter just before the summer. To be honest I love the remix much more than the original version.

The new single is accompanied by a retro-stylized music video, produced by Canadian director Justin Tyler Close. Trentemøller himself also produced a murky and stirring music video for the remix version to the fans’ delight.

Listen to “Hands Down” on Spotify and get yourself into Trente Universe once again.
