SpringBreakFestivalOh, what an intense start into the festival season 2016 Good because Danish had during the past few weeks! First we hosted our first show ever in Poland at Enea Spring Break Festival and this weekend it is time for SPOT Festival.

Before travelling to Aarhus, we want to share our impressions from Ida Wenøe and SHERPA‘s shows in Poznań during the third edition of Enea Spring Break Festival. As this was the first time that foreign artists performed at the festival, we decided to present different faces of Danish music to the Polish audience.

Delicate, lovely female troubadour Ida Wenøe and mysterious, heavy pop raising star SHERPA fit perfectly to this idea. For both artists it was their first visit to Poland – and a really good one, too! They enjoyed their stay as much as the audience their shows at Alternativa Club in Poznań.

Since the Polish audience is hungry for new music, both concerts were packed with people wanting to get to know the artists. SHERPA and Ida delivered. Especially SHERPA had a small challenge, because it was the first time Carsten Sherpa performed live together with Tore Nissen AND presented a set of completely new songs. The response was great – and if you got the chance, you need to check out SHERPA live with the new material!

Ida Wenøe took the Polish audience on a journey to a completely different land of completely different music. The audience was surprised not only by the music, but also by the charismatic and friendly performer. Even when the string of her guitar broke and she had to stop the show to fix it, Ida managed to keep the attention of the people and the little accident added even more charm to her performance.

Good because Danish couldn’t be more proud of the two acts – and hopes that whoever showed up to see Good because Danish Presents at Enea Spring Break Festival 2016, left happy and satisfied. See you next year, Spring Break! And when it comes to more GbD shows in Poland or other parts of the world… maybe even before next year… who knows! ;)
