Eartha Kitt’s subsequent version from 1950 inspired the singer to update it her own way. In cooperation with Danish producer and DJ Baby Duka, these two prove that music is a playground worth exploring and experimenting with. The result is even more than ‘good’. A mix of classy vibes with samples from Missy Elliot’s “All N My Grill” and bewitching, tempting vocals of the Danish-Zambian R&B singer created a tasteful combination that we’ll never get bored with.
Kwamie Liv charms again and it looks like this new cover – but also the previous releases like “Perfect Grace” – has just confirmed her uniqueness and incredible talent. Our hearts already belong to Kwamie Liv and we hope yours – as well.
