Kwamie Liv - My Heart Belongs To Daddy cover

While we’re all waiting for the new EP “Fame Bear”, Kwamie Liv lets us savour her smashing and exceptional interpretation of the Cole Porter classic “My Heart Belongs to Daddy”.

Eartha Kitt’s subsequent version from 1950 inspired the singer to update it her own way. In cooperation with Danish producer and DJ Baby Duka, these two prove that music is a playground worth exploring and experimenting with. The result is even more than ‘good’. A mix of classy vibes with samples from Missy Elliot’s “All N My Grill” and bewitching, tempting vocals of the Danish-Zambian R&B singer created a tasteful combination that we’ll never get bored with.

Kwamie Liv charms again and it looks like this new cover – but also the previous releases like “Perfect Grace” – has just confirmed her uniqueness and incredible talent. Our hearts already belong to Kwamie Liv and we hope yours – as well.
