It is still funny and a bit weird to write about music with lyrics in a language you don’t speak. But maybe that is what shows the power of music. That it is an universal language. A language that every music lover can understand.
So, even though you don’t speak Danish, if you like music – you will understand the message of JÆRV‘s new single “Falder”. The song is from her upcoming EP which will be released in March 2016.
After the heavier and more mysterious “I Staver”, Amanda Glindvad shows an a bit more delicate and romantic side of her music in “Falder”. The story she tells in the song is not new, yet hauntingly beautiful. Maybe because it probably has happened to all of us…
“Falder” is a retrospect on a tumultuous love affair between two young people always striving for more. They wish to be together but end up drifting further apart due to their uncontrollable quest for drama and the undefinable extraordinary. (JÆRV)
