Good because Danish Night - Reeperbahn Festival

Hamburg! Good because Danish is coming to town in September! While the city is getting ready for Reeperbahn Festival, the first Danes already arrive in the German metropole to play their own showcase.

Mark your calendars, because you don’t want to miss the wonderful Ida Gard, marstal:lidell and Ida Wenøe playing KNUST in Hamburg on 23. September 2015.

After having a great time at our OFF SPOT Festival showcase in Aarhus earlier this year, Good because Danish once again joined forces with Hamburg-based Mona Schnell PR. For our joint Good because Danish Night we now bring the same Danish talents, their handmade music and some magical Nordic atmosphere to Germany.

Ida Gard, marstal:lidell and Ida Wenøe will present an outlook of their upcoming releases and promise an evening rich in variety and full of powerful voices:

Indie queen Ida Gard serves intimate songwriter gems together with Anne Kirstine Winkler on drums – German radio eins talks about „pop songs with an edge“. As marstal:lidell, Anna Lidell and Henrik Marstall bring spherical dream pop onto stage, which sounds as if The Cure met Röyksopp and Slowdive got a vibe of Nina Hagen. The Guardian writes about Ida Wenøe, that „she sounds like the young narrator of her own magical-malevolent fantasies“ and calls her voice „perfect“.

Listen into what to expect during the Good because Danish Night below – and come join us at KNUST Hamburg in September!
