When Fine Glindvad – singer of the Copenhagen-based trio CHINAH almost whispers about her childhood memories, the song of her, guitarist Simon Kjær and E-Wizzard Simon Andersson doesn’t really seem to keep what the title implicates. Listening to the sophisticated electronic song, you rather get the feeling that it’s not at all about “away from yourself”. It is more like you definitely want Fine and her song come closer, let the tunes overwhelm you and let your own thoughts and emotions flow.

Listening to the lyrics, getting more and more into the melodic rhythm and digging deeper into Fine’s message you will start your own journey – memorizing about your own childhood and your own connections that can always be both: cruel and disjunctive, but also unifying and knotting.

So, listen to Fine and her band CHINAH, let “Away from me” come close to yourself, dare to dig deep and start your own journey through your relationships, thoughts and emotions.

Find “Away from me” on SoundCloud or Spotify and buy the song on iTunes. And if that is not enough CHINAH for you – the band just came out with the new and somewhat more scratchy single “We go back” (more about it soon on Good because Danish)!

Give it a try and have fun listening!
