One of the most perfect imaginable summer scenarios definitely includes the following three components: beach, friends and …of course, music. The relatively young festival Musik i Lejet, taking place in the North of Denmark’s biggest island Sjælland between 16. and 18. July, adds these elements as the foundation of what sounds like one damn cozy weekend.
Catchy pop tunes, Nordic folk vibes, girl power, dream pop, electronic sounds, new wave and Danish rock – this year’s diverse line-up offers music for everyone’s taste and liking, and promises to also turn Musik i Lejet’s 2015-edition into the story-book festival it seems to be.
Jacob Bellens, Kwamie Liv, Scarlett Pleasure, Heimatt, The Attic Sleepers, Cancer, Kentaur, Rangleklods, AV AV AV, The Minds of 99, Vinnie Who, Ida Wenøe, Ulige Numre, Hymns from Nineveh, Tomas Barfod, Kenton Slash Demon and many more are going to play on two stages between the cozy forest and the lovely beach of Tisvilde, that’ll turn in one sandy dance-floor.
