This young man from Holstebro, Julian Hartwig-Hansen, makes music that will make the outside world just… you know, go away.
“Bye July’s live shows are accompanied by a live visual act, which is formed by a talented young art student. Together their teamwork forms a rich and interesting live act, not seen by many other artists.” – says Bye July’s Facebook page.
We don’t know about the live performance, but we do know that the album “Reworked Tape” has something that can’t be heard in many other artists’ music. There’s a real room for the music in it. And a great space in music itself. Each sound can develop to the maximum of its capacity. The landscapes, the fields of open space between the beats give a remarkable feeling to the listener. Everything is so clear and you can see every detail up to the horizon.
A very big advantage of “Reworked Tape” is the great amount of suiting collaborations with female Danish singers. Each track features a different one and each is special thanks to it. The mix of electronic and R’n’B vibes fits them all very well.

P.S. Don’t miss out the last track “Let Me” (featuring Gry) – a true final hit to like the whole record even more!
