After almost an eternity, Dinner just released his new visual masterpiece calledSay What You Want (Love is Death)” and – as expected – it’s definitely worthy to write a few words about it.

Since Anders Rhedin and his Alter Ego decided to go across the pond and spend more time in L.A., Dinner increased his chances to become one of Denmark’s most interesting artists.

“Say What You Want (Love is Death)” combines both old and new characteristics of his music – sonorous melodies, which are permanently contradicted by Dinner’s booming voice, whispery background choir and a catchy chorus. As a new recognition feature, Dinner started to put more focus on the visual aspects of his music videos. Colorful clothes, androgynous appearance are well-known from his antecessor “Going Out”, but this time we’re facing a more calm side.

Even though it is pretty difficult to sit still while watching the video, Dinner’s piercing glance and his almost stoical body language create a soothing mood and reminds at least me, why I love this guy so much for his creative work.

It seems that we can expect a great variety of his style in the future. Unfortunately before we can expect a full album, Dinner is delivering us his “Three” EP instead .
