acousticautumncontest-6-novemberdecember

It’s time to finish our little series of Acoustic Autumn contests. This year we wanted to get to know YOUR favorite works of art for autumn. In exchange for the most inspiring answers, we were giving away wonderful Danish acoustic/folk CDs to you.

For the last contest, Good because Danish would like to know your favorite autumn… song! Because all in all, it’s all about the music! Is there a song you like to listen to on repeat during the long, cold, sometimes melancholic autumn evenings?

We will give away one copy of NovemberDecember‘s album “From the Swing, Into the Deep” to the lucky winner, who will charm us the most with her/his choice!

To take part in today’s contest, send a mail with the subject “Acoustic Autumn Contest #6” and your favorite autumn song with a short explanation until Friday, 12. December 2014 to win@goodbecausedanish.com. Don’t forget to also include your address into the mail!

We asked Steffen from NovemberDecember about their favorite autumn song, to give you a little inspiration for your own answer:

Well, as part of a band with the name NovemberDecember, I should really know all about good songs to fit the autumn perfectly. And even though it’s been a while since I listened to the album in its full length, I would pick Nick Drake‘s absolutely classic – and still today breathtaking – album, “Pink Moon” as my favorite record for this time of year. It’s as diverse and complex as the autumn itself with its deeply haunting lyrics and beautiful moods but at the same time very simple with nothing but one guitar and vocals to tell such a powerful story. And just like autumn is the transition between summer and winter, “Pink Moon” to me is about being somewhere in between, written in a disturbing yet beautiful state of mind.”
