Mont Oliver - 19

Step by step we’re watching Mont Oliver creeping in our lovely blog and taking over Good because Danish.

Are we astonished? Not really.

For the last few weeks the 3 guys from Mont Oliver amaze us regularly with their music. After releasing their track “19” and presenting the official music video, they recently came up with another release and free download. This time we have the great pleasure to listen to their successor called “White Sheets”, a more faster song with the expected mix of driving beat, catchy synth melody and the falsetto-like voice of singer Jakob combined with the distorted chorus.

“19” and “White Sheets” are part of Mont Oliver’s debut EP “19”, which was internationally released on 17. November 2014 and includes 4 songs in total. “Nobody Knows” is presenting another side of their huge spectrum and their talent for slower tracks. Of course the music is dominated by the synth melodies, but Jakob is presenting a more calm and relaxing atmosphere with his milder voice and the usage of pianos. “Golden Glow” can be seen in a line with the first 2 songs of the EP, but perfectly describes the mentioned mild voice of Jakob with stomping beats.

The debut EP “19” by Mont Oliver offers a wide spectrum of different styles and moods and confirms the impression of creativity, which I already experienced on their concert a couple of weeks ago.

You can listen to all 4 songs on SoundCloud, where you can also download all songs for free! Find the EP “19” on Spotify and iTunes, too.

We are exciting to hear more from Mont Oliver in the nearer future again!
