“Astra Lai” is the title track of the second EP from the Danish artist composing under the moniker Vivl (his first EP “An Inner World” came up in January 2014 as digital release). The upcoming EP will see the light of day on 27. October 2014 and will contain 5 tracks.
Vivl is Copenhagen-based artist Rasmus Yde, who is describing his music as alternative electronica. So, what can we expect from the “Astra Lai” EP then? Presumably some very atmospheric electronic sounds, probably full of mystery and sometimes also filled with darkness. The confirmation of such idea about the forthcoming EP is the name-giving single “Astra Lai” and the accompanying video clip to it (which you can watch below).
In this particular song, Vivl can be seen as Danish and somewhat darker version of the well-known Icelandic Jónsi. What exactly Vivl will present on his next EP will be revealed this coming Monday… stay tuned!
