The music defends itself – they say. In case of EASE that’s a very true statement. Why? Because apart from the info that EASE is a Danish duo consisting of Cecilie Dyrberg and Mathilde Falch – there’s absolutely nothing more to get to know, so far. Except of the first single from the band – “Don’t Give Up”, released on 24. September 2014. This one song is enough to keep an eye on EASE in the future!
The beginning of the song sounds like the beginning of a remix. But it’s not, it’s the original first single of the female duo, which charmed me with this debut song! The mix of pop music with a little bit of indie rock and electronic, everything covered with catchy, clean vocals and simple, yet powerful lyrics – all together it sounds good! EASE delivers a piece of music that is playful, scratchy and a danceable power boost. What else do you need?
“Don’t Give Up” is a perfect song to wake up to and charge the batteries before a busy day, while dancing around in the bathroom with your toothbrush in your mouth, humming along with the two Danish ladies “Heaven’s gonna set you free, if you don’t give up!”. Just watch out to not choke ;)
