Balkan beat, world music, gypsy rave – everybody can label Tako Lako‘s music the way they want to. The variety is allowed and needed, because the Copenhagen band’s songs are a mix of sounds that run away from any classification. It’s not even just diversity, it’s simply one big musical variation, consisting of drum-craziness, psychedelic sounds and gypsy rhythms.
The group with Danish-Serbian roots released their debut album “Through the Mud” in 2012. Soon, on 1. October 2014, their second LP will see the light of day. The album will be called “Pulse Riddle” and its second preview after “Thunder in the Dead Zone” is – of course another super vivid track: the new single “Remedy”.
Tako Lako‘s amazing live energy could be experienced by the audiences of Glastonbury, SXSW, Sziget or Roskilde Festival – to only name a few. I can only imagine how fantastic Tako Lako shows must be, since I can’t even sit still when only watching the YouTube clips!
