Sherpa - Animal

“If you are a fan of electronic vibes and chill-out tunes similar to famous acts like The XX and Spleen United you will simply love this guy!” (SOUND OF AARHUS)

With this quote our job of introducing the new Danish artist SHERPA could be done… But of course we will add something more, since we are really in love with SHERPA’s debut single “Animal”. Sound Of Aarhus have chosen Carsten Sherpa as one of the acts of their “Class of 2014” (read more about it HERE) and now we can see why they did it!

The Copenhagen-based artist released his debut single “Animal” on 25. August 2014 and it will be the song reminding you about the summer. This is the sound of modern pop music. The catchy, but also a bit mysterious melody, crystal clear vocals and the bright, chilled-out chorus – “Animal” was made to win your hearts and move your feet.

SHERPA will soon release more material and we are looking forward to listen to it! As we can read on the artist’s SoundCloud: The songs move between indie, pop and disco – all with engaging hook lines and roots in electronic productions. SHERPA’s vast vocal registry brings the songs to a level which shows that he has the potential for an international breakthrough.” – we will keep our fingers crossed for that!

Listen to “Animal” on SoundCloud, Spotify or WiMP and go buy the single on iTunes. Pssst… don’t forget to also give your like to SHERPA on Facebook and if you’re in Berlin this week, catch him playing Our/Berlin Music Week on Wednesday, 3. September!
