Their band name refers to one of Slowdive’s songs and they just released a debut EP that you really don’t want to miss. Who are we talking about? Catch The Breeze!
The new Aarhus/Copenhagen based indie rock band consisting of members from the now disbanded Yellowish: singer and guitarist Aage Hedensted (also known from Mixtune For Cully), bassist Lars Madsen and drummer Andreas Bundgaard.
On 11. August 2014 the band released a debut EP, simply called “Catch The Breeze”. Together with the EP a new video came out for the song “The Shallow Bed”.
As Catch The Breeze writes on their Facebook page:
“The sound is uncomplicated and simple but the riveting interplay often takes the compositions to new heights. Inspirations are plentiful but centers on alternative rock and the shoegazing sound in particular.”
We talk here about a Danish band, but their sound is clearly international, it has everything what you need for a great success: good vocals, excellent guitar riffs, and a perfect shoegazing sound.
The music goes along with the videoc clips. The new video for “The Shallow Bed” was filmed in Aarhus Lydstudie when the band recorded the EP back in December 2013. Watch it below!
