Do you remember our guide to Danish Spring and Summer events you shouldn’t miss? Right after Trailerpark Festival, from 6. – 9. August 2014, another one of those highlights is happening: the amazing New Note Festival in Hillerød, an idyllic town north of Copenhagen, known for its beautiful castle.
What makes this lovely festivel especially unique is not its location though, but the fact that the whole initiative is based on 100% volunteer work, making it a great example for passion and dedication in and around music. On four days, New Note Festival is presenting more than 30 concerts – many of those even free of charge. True to itself, also the line-up of this year’s edition consists of both, upcoming and well-known artists who are all having their high musical quality in common.
Seeing bigger names and outstanding acts (When Saints Go Machine, Turboweekend, Reptile Youth, Cody, alcoholic faith mission, Treefight for Sunlight, … ), just as much as a whole row of our personal, young favorites like Sekuoia, Quick Quick Obey, Blaue Blume, Kill J, Nelson Can, Lowly, NovemberDecember or Mont Oliver in 2014’s line-up, shows that New Note Festival is in no way inferior to profit motivated events.
Listen to the playlist for this year’s New Note acts on Good because Danish’s YouTube channel, have a look into the programme and make sure to join the event on Facebook :) See you in Hillerød!
