Astrid Nora aka Where did Nora go charmed us with her debut EP “Away, Away, Away” as well as the debut album simply titled “Where did Nora go”.
Over a year after the release of the debut, Where did Nora go went back to the recording studio. The result – the second album “Shimmer” will be released in September 2014. Since Monday, 12. May we can make the waiting nicer with a single announcing the new material – “Shelter”.
The new song captures the charm of Where did Nora go music perfectly. The sound of the chello builds the skeleton on which the delicate piano sounds and Astrid’s magical vocals are plotting a musical net.
“Shelter” creates an atmosphere that is mysterious, everything in the song is kind of hidden behind the mist. If you ever watched the movie “The Secret Garden”, you may know what we have in our minds when we listen to the new Where did Nora go song.
This unique Danish artist won’t deliver you a radio hit. But with “Shelter” she shares something way better with us. She half-opens the doors to her world. We hope to enter it fully with the new album.
