In the end of March, The Olympics had released a song entitled “4U”. It had started their series of ten tracks which are going to appear in the web for the next ten months. By this way the band from Copenhagen is announcing their next album. As they had promised, they did and they now shared another track – “Monument”.
The Olympics lead singer Niklas Frost Iversen says about this song:
“We have gone through many styles and sounds in this band, but when we started this project, we really just went with our gut feeling and “Monument” was one of the first songs born from that feeling”
It seems that with “Monument” the group is not planning to resign from their mettle. And that’s great. The new song by The Olympics is less electronic than “4U” but it is as much energetic.
Hopefully, Robert Fabrin, Niklas Frost Iversen, Kasper Ejlerskov Leonhardt and Jonatan Lykke-Olesen are preparing an electropop album that is going to move one’s legs to dance.
