Our lovely friends from Sound Of Aarhus always come up with the best ideas! :) This time they delivered a very special treat containing some seriously great electronic stuff from The Gang OK.
A live session recorded in the empty art-building Godsbanen in Aarhus presents the band playing their new material “Location 2.0.”. The first part of the musical journey that The Gang OK took us on – “Location 1.0” blew our minds away. Back then we started a love affair with them and it continues with the new tunes.
The Gang OK are back with exactly 14 minutes and 23 seconds of new music. And again, it’s just great! They build the tention and the atmosphere which makes them be a “that’s how Joy Division would sound like if they played electronic music” kind of band.
The characteristic vibe is here, the sound is clear, the beat is strong, the message is to dance and forget about the outside world.
Along with the new music from The Gang OK comes a live session recorded by Neon Kid Media, in collaboration with Sound Of Aarhus. As we can read on the SOA website:
“The goal of the day was to shoot the next video in the bands “Location” series. In this video you see 6 different listeners, none of them had ever heard this song before”…
