Those who know me, know that I am a big fan of everything Brian Batz does. A month ago we have presented you his latest project – Ønskeøen. A new Danish “supergroup” with members of Cody, The Rumour Said Fire, From Sarah and of course Brian Batz.
The second track of the shoegaze pop quintet, that was released on 19. May, is called “Sleeping Is Free”. The atmosphere of the song is very similar to the previous song, “Baby Cigarettes”, but the song itself is more slow and quiet. Based on these two songs we can quite clearly see what direction the guys want to take in their music.
