The Olympics

The Olympicsreleased a new single a few days ago on 28. March. The song is called “4U” and it’s the first one out of a series of 10 songs that will be released by the band during the next months online. That’s how the Danes will share their next album, which will combine these 10 songs.

The first element of the record-releasing-project is an energetic pop track. Built on the drum beat and seasoned with electronic sounds, “4U” doesn’t let you turn it off after just one listen. Especially because the musical space is nicely “arranged” by great vocals. Such a preview of what will come the next months from The Olympics keeps us definitely interested about the new album – we can only follow the band’s actions for at least the next 9 months!

The Olympics is a five-piece group from Copenhagen, consisting of Jonas Delfs, Robert Fabrin, Niklas Frost Iversen, Kasper Ejlerskov Leonhardt and Jonatan Lykke-Olesen. They debuted in 2011 by releasing the album „Mother”. In their music discography you can also find the EP „Limbo”.
