Tako Lako, probably Denmark’s finest gypsy beat ensemble, continue their on-going psychedelic dance party with the newly released song “Thunder in the Dead Zone”!
The true to its name, thundering song is also the first single from the project’s forthcoming second album “Pulse Riddle” which will come out in early October 2014.
Due to their eccentric and euphoric live-shows – where simply not a single body is able to stand still – Tako Lako generated a deserved hype about themselves, leading to a Danish Music Award as 2013’s best live-band in the World genre.
When the new work keeps what promised by the band: “to take their signature psychedelic gypsy beats to new heights” – we can only, in the best possible way, psych ourselves for the concerts of their upcoming “Fearless Tour” through Denmark in May (or the planned UK Tour this Summer).
“Thunder in the Dead Zone” allows us a first glimpse into an even more experimental take on their very own musical vision: we are looking forward to thumping, almost sublime rhythms, literal explosions, “and a bombastic, acid-induced atmosphere” – on record and above all, live.
