Broken Twin, because it’s her we are talking about, is the stage name of Majke Voss Romme, who just released her debut album on 28. April. „May” is a proof of great talent, artistic sensitivity and incredible maturity regarding making music.
The whole album is consistent and creates an intimate, soothing and warm atmosphere, which surrounds us like a safety bubble. On a first „ear’s glance” her music may come across as gloomy or sad, but it isn’t – she is fragile but brave and hopeful, searching for something and being curious about the world and nature of relationships. For me those are feelings overflowing from Broken Twin’s music, its lyrics and pace.
