Another record we have been looking forward to ever since they put out their self-titled first single! The Mountains released their debut album “The Mountains, The Valleys, The Lakes” today, on 10. March 2014.
All 12 songs seem to float through a harmonious created soundscape – between mountains, valleys and lakes. (See what I did there? Anyway, the three name-giving songs actually really build some sort of frame for the album’s song order. Smartly put!) The general mood of the record moves between romantic and spheric, in songs like “Ivalo” or “Between Two Fires” you can even imagine the iconic eagle flying over some icy mountain tops…
