We were trying to post this one since the very first time we heard Sink Ships’ lead singer playing during a night at Trinitatis Natkirke in Copenhagen. That was in January 2014, so as you can see it took us some time. But better late than never!
Why did we wait so long with sharing Sink Ships music with you? One of the reasons is that the songs are so simple, so uncomplicated and because of that so beautiful that we couldn’t really find the right words to describe them.
We kind of still can’t. Sink Ships is an Australian-Swedish-Danish band, currently based in Copenhagen, that released their debut album in 2013. Folk sounds, the Australian singer-songwriter soul of the leader of the band and Danish melancholy coming out in every tune – this is Sink Ships to us.
This music simply doesn’t need any words. They are all said/sang in the lyrics. No need for more from us. So we stop writing now and we leave you with the lovely self-titled album from Sink Ships.
