In times where new musicians seem to automatically choose English to express themselves in their art, it is quite refreshing to hear young bands – like Den Fjerde Væg – using Danish instead.
Especially because of their song “Selvportræt” from 2012 (which still is among my all time favorite Danish songs) and a couple of chances to catch the guys play live, we kept Den Fjerde Væg on our radar ever since; which was yet again worth it as the guys released the first single of their upcoming second album “Ny Kynisme” yesterday, on 10. March!
