People of and in Berlin, we have a great tip for you where to go on 31 October and a perfect alternative to everything Halloween! A bunch of – how they call themselves – musicloving enthusiasts have created a very special event for you all: the REVERB 2013.
REVERB can best be described as a non-profit mini-festival for Danish Music in Berlin. The line-up is 100% Danish:this year it consists of the two established acts CTM and Ulige Numre and three acts from the Danish underground scene that are based in Germany – Tjaere+Fjer, Crystal Shipsss, and Mono Girl.
“The idea behind REVERB is to present some of the best up-coming and established bands from the Danish music scene to a German audience, and at the same give Danes living in Berlin a taste of home, while introducing them to Danish bands living and working in Germany”, the initiators explain the aim of their festival which is also a part of the annual Danish Music Day.
All the volunteers behind REVERB are centered around Christianskirken, the Danish Church in Berlin, and all profits from the festival will go to their monthly event “Ung i Berlin” (‘Young in Berlin’) where young Danes can come together and exchange their experiences in the German capital.
