Since they released the single “Feel The Wheels”, we were looking for more from the new Copehagen-based trio Mantua. And here is more: the EP “Mantua”, released on the 18. November 2016, that reminds us guitar rock inspired music is doing well!

Opening with instrumental “Exile’s Letter”, going through stoic “Crazy”, absolute personal highlight of mine from the EP – “Void”, catchy and well-written single “Feel The Wheels”, joyful, country/folk music inspired “Wall To Wall” and closing with touching both on musical and lyrical level “Good Man at Heart”Mantua shows us different faces of guitar music. All of them are somehow special, even tho they go to the roots of guitar music.

While listening to “Mantua” EP you can have the feeling of visiting an old friend after a long break. You know him well, his weakness and strengths. You saw him high and low. But after not seeing each other for a while, you notice some new things in him. He grew up, got more thoughtful perhaps. He shows you a slightly different face of himself. So does Mantua. They show a new face of sound that you might have thought will never surprise you again.
