Germany hosted an impressive number of summer music festivals, during which Danish musicians could present how diverse and flourishing music industry in this little country is. We’re very happy, that Reeperbahn Festival’s scenes will be occupied by a very strong representations of Danes as well. These are: Alex Vargas, Deerborn, Dirty Old Town, Palace Winter, Choir of Young Believers, Yung, Phlake, Farveblind, Hollow Hollow, The Courettes (DK/BRA), Tim Schou, The Entrepreneurs and Communions, Blondage, Chinah and IAMJJ. The last four acts will play during “The Danish Night” – a showcase organized at Reeperbahn by Music Export Denmark.

It all started in 2006 and since then Reeperbahn Festival become one of the most important meeting places for the music industry and Germany’s largest club festival, which gathers a broad spectrum of musicians. It has been considerably developing, gaining new partnerships (this year’s partner country is Netherlands) and now the festival’s program offers much more than over 450 breathtaking concerts.

It’s more than 700 events such as conference, which will pick up a great number of varied topics concerning e.g. festivals and innovations that is designed for professionals active in the music and creative digital industries and features sessions, showcases, networking events, or awards ceremonies. It’s also an attractive art program that includes a lot of events in the fields of fine art, film and literature. In 2016 it will be the first time Reeperbahn Festival will host and highlight classical music. Moreover – The Anchor Award will have its premiere, which is aiming to become an internationally renowned stamp of approval for young and upcoming artists.
Summarizing all of it – everyone will definitely find something to explore in 4 days.

Good because Danish created a short Danish playlist on Spotify for you, with some energizing songs that you’ll hear live in Hamburg! Including two new releases: of Blondage and Communions, which have unquestionably predispositions to becoming festival’s hits.
