Trentemøller obviously needs no introduction but his new single certainly does! The Danish producer is about to release his long-awaited album in September but until then we can dive into the really intense “River in Me”.

The new single features guest vocals from Jehnny Beth – well-known from London-based rock band Savages. Earlier in 2016, Trentemøller made an outstanding remix of Savages’ song “Surrender”. As we can see the co-operation seems to be very fruitful and results in well-thought-out electronic productions that smoothly combine these two off-beat universes into one.

The hypnotic new single “River in Me” is accompanied by an acute and unsettling music video directed by Swedish director Åsa Riton and Swedish artist Andreas Emenius (RITON EMENIUS). While watching the video we’re literally shivering from the cold, having this disquieting feeling as if we were surrounded by an immense glacier which is about to fall apart. The clean shots are perfectly filled with both regular and fast beats, cool bass and chilly synths. As a whole – „River in Me” is melting everything around and it’s unquestionably on top during this year’s hot summer.
