SPOT-Festival-2016 GbD recommendations NEWSPOT Festival 2016 is around the corner. Unfortunately I can not go this year – but this mix of poppy, calm and electronic tunes would be where you could find me, if being there:

1. Dúné

Almost British-like indie tunes, a bit of punk, and a good portion of pop – but actually a Danish classic. That is what Dúné is for me. Especially strong in passionate live shows with a very present frontman on stage, the Skive-founded band is definitely a must at SPOT Festival for everyone who is into rather wild live-shows!

2. Anna Scharling

Still a bit less known, but nevertheless someone I would love to go see live would be Anna Scharling. Surely one of the more quiet ones at the festival. But quiet is everything but bad in her case. Anna impresses me with piano-paced but intensive songs that will definitely create a special atmosphere at SPOT Festival.

3. CHINAH

Less poppy than Dúné, more electronic than Anna Scharling, CHINAH would be the third of my favourite bands at SPOT Festival 2016. Soft-spoken, but surrounded by electro-synths they would move my feet and create the right festival mood. Rhythmic but gloomy, emotional but somewhat cool – this is what I would expect to get when seeing CHINAH live.
