Even though Copenhagen duo GENTS* named their in December released debut EP “Embrace The Future”, the latest music video to “Love Is Tears” seems to be much more embracing the feeling of nostalgia.

Just like the visualisations of “Young Again” and “Circles” before, the video directed by Tsvetan Nastev captures once again a very particular retro charme, featuring yesteryear’s tech gimmicks such as tube TV sets, the good old walkman and VHS-aesthetics; all perfectly suiting to the track’s catchy take on 1980’s synth-pop. Decor remains from pretty much the same decade like bubbly lava lamps and fluffy sheepskins give the video a slightly kitschy vibe – but one you feel strangely at home in, too.

And who wouldn’t need a homely place when dealing with heartbreak?
