Lydmor - I Love You at Sofar Aarhus

Oh boy, what a treat we have for you today! If you like crazy, somewhat weird and unexpected concert locations, you will love it!

Good because Danish is proud to present the video premiere of Sofar Sounds Aarhus‘ session with Lydmor performing her latest single “I Love You” at the Naturhistorisk Museum in Aarhus. This secret live session took place in early March, the venue was announced a day before the show and the acts were kept secret from the audience until the very last moment.

Lydmor already has some experience in playing intimate, living room shows from her great concert concept “Trust Tour”. Now she was invited to stand in the middle of a museum filled with stuffed animals and prehistoric skeletons. How that worked out? Well, based on the video, it seems like it was a perfect match!

Jonas Kring, the founder of Sofar Sounds Aarhus tells: “This session was a special one for us as we got to showcase Lydmor, who is one of our current favorite female artists. We’ve been doing Sofar Sessions in Aarhus for a year and what drives us to keep doing it is that each show, like this one, is a unique and very intimate experience that binds the artists and the audience together in a way that we don’t normally experience at live venues.”

At Good because Danish we also love Lydmor and her new song “I Love You” a lot! Both, the composition itself and the video to it. This wonderful and talented Copenhagen girl is quirky – and that’s one of her best attributes: she doesn’t pretend anything, doesn’t “build an image”, she’s just honestly a bit weird – in a VERY good way! That’s why we think she fits the surroundings of the Naturhistorisk Museum in Aarhus so well. If sirens were real creatures, Lydmor would have been a descendant of one of them. So the slightly mysterious and magical scenery of her Sofar Sounds show suits her quite perfectly.
