If The Strokes and The Black Keys joined forces for a more delicate, slow and lazy indie-rock summer anthem, there’s a big chance that they would come up with a tune similar to what we can hear in the first single of Danish band MORE. Yep, indie-rock isn’t dead and it has something new and cool to present!

I’m sure you could add at least a few more names to the two mentioned above, that inspired MORE in creating “Sunshine”. No matter what influences you hear in the song, you can for sure hear… sunshine – really! The song is joyful in a lazy way, as sunny summer days are.

MORE say about themselves: “We’re a band which is reinventing itself. We’ve thrown the 70’s psych-rock away and are now moving towards a more modern sound with good pop-melodies. (although, we cannot completely stop being experimental).”

A good pop melody is definitely present in “Sunshine”, the one that stucks in your head for a long time and becomes an anthem of daily routine. There’s a lot of classic touches in the track, but it doesn’t miss freshness (and style – the piano in the background, so fancy and so cool at the same time!). Now, the only thing we want from MORE is… MORE music!
