Like the sombre tune which runs alongside it, “I Love You” sees Lydmor at her most vulnerable.
She is fierce in slow motion, aesthetically, a black and white Lydmor channels Cleopatra. Inside a photographer’s studio, she directs her angst straight down the lens. Some beautiful framing creates a fragmented aura, one which seems to represent Lydmor’s state of mind. It is when we see a wide angle of Lydmor dancing and singing the chorus we know she is going to be alright.
She is going to move on, no matter her heartache.
