The music-collective Lowly once again joined forces with Marie Boye Thomsen (this time accompanied by Christian Rohde Lindinger) in order to make a video to their song “Forward”. After their collaboration for the short film to “Stones In The Water”, the band now used footage of the directors’ project “Cymatics” for their new video clip.

Lowly’s vibrating song fits the vibrating images of boiling/reacting/connecting/disconnecting liquids. The small particles of the music are like the tiny particles in the footage. Watching the clip makes you feel like observing the song – which in this case is a chemical reaction in process – under the microscope. It’s fascinating and totally addictive – like Lowly’s music.

The video to “Forward” proves that sometimes there’s no need for a plot or even a regular motion picture to make a clip suiting to the music.

See the intoxicating chemistry of Lowly’s music (yes, this is no mistake – see it, don’t only listen to it) – find the video clip to “Forward” on YouTube.
