The release of Turboweekend‘s fourth album is around the corner (the band announced it will see the daylight sometimes in early 2015). While waiting (im)patiently for that, we can enjoy listening to their new single “Miles and Miles”. Now, we can also enjoy watching the video to the song, directed by Benjamin Robin Graahede.

“Run, Forrest, Run!” comes to my mind while watching Turboweekend’s vocalist Silas Bjerregaard running with determination through the fields that look like being a place at the end of the world. “Miles and Miles” is a song about not giving up. About the pursuit of happiness, no matter what the obstacles may be. The video clip shows exactly that attitude. Somehow, maybe because of the rawness of the scenery, the mysterious night shadows and the grayness, the video makes the message of “Miles and Miles” even more real. The world around running Silas isn’t a shiny happy fairy tale land. But somewhere out there, there’s home waiting. Happiness is waiting. Love is waiting. He just needs to keep on running to it.

The video to “Miles and Miles” fits the song’s simplicity – no bombast, just pure good music and a pure good motion picture delivered by Turboweekend and the director.

Watch the video on YouTube or Vimeo and give Turboweekend your Like on Facebook to keep track on news about the band and their forthcoming album!
