North Fall - Teeth

Danish singer-songwriter Anders Belling came a long way since he started his solo project in 2010, which ultimately became his musical project North Fall back in 2012. Although he regularly presented his songs on YouTube and well-known festivals in and out of Denmark like Aarhus Festuge, Copenhagen Beat Festival and Trondheim Åsafestivalen, North Fall released their mini-album called “Outside It’s Growing Light” in the beginning of this year.

The album includes 8 tracks and as a worthy successor North Fall recently released another official video for their new song “Teeth”. As already indicated in North Fall’s songs from the past, front singer Anders and his band members are combining their passion for serious issues of nostalgia and melodies driven by passion. The purposely shaky video footages symbolize the childish exuberance with strong metaphors and starring the 3 nieces of drummer Mads. Similar to the sparklers at the end of the video, North Fall describes the beauty and the irrevocable transience of life without denying the creation of new moments to live for.

This inner fragmentation of front singer Anders is perfectly emphasized by the changing emotions of his voice in “Teeth”, which is alternately switching between gloomy atmosphere and optimistic chorus, amplified by the vigorously guitar and drum parts.

Due to the fact that “Teeth” is no official song of their mentioned mini-album “Outside It’s Growing Light”, we can be optimistic to get some new material by North Fall in 2015.

You can watch the official video for “Teeth” on YouTube and should check out the guys’ Facebook profile as well!
