Hooray! Danish newcomers Mont Oliver don’t only celebrate the international release of their EP “19”, but came up with the first official video of their new single with the same name “19” as well – and it’s eye candy for sure!

In their 4-minutes video Mont Oliver present an outlook of the cold and depressive winter season. We can see front singer Jakob starting his evening by leaving his house lonely and isolated, before he starts his trip through different settings of a city (probably Copenhagen?!).

During his little night walk he sings about the struggles of being young, uncertain and focused on a better future with his wonderful voice. Especially the visual part of the chorus is brilliant, when the whole band is playing separated behind curtains and starting to draw a close of the story with Jakob’s metaphorically relieving jump into the water.

Director Mathias Nyholm enthuses us with a lot of different elements, a successful combination of various lightning effects and constant changing camera perspectives and as a result “19” is another real deal produced by well-known Danish record label Fake Diamond.

Now we just have to wait for the upcoming EP “19” and their next official video release .. maybe ‘”All Yours” (you can already listen to it on Spotify)?

You can check out the video of “19” on YouTube and download the song for free from the band’s SoundCloud as well!
