lowly-stonesinthewaterThere will always be discussions about feminism and female leadership in modern society. I don’t know what to think about this issue in general, but finally I found the perfect argument for this in music business: Danish pop-noise quintet Lowly from Aarhus. Luckily lead-singers Nanna Schannong, Soffie Viemose & co. do not live up to their name and present their new song “Stones In The Water” with a full charge of power and dynamic to us!

In their current song they are taking us into a world of mysterious, constant varying nature (not so typical Denmark, huh?) and are emphasizing this with a rougher and more noisy sound compared to their debut single “Daydreamers”. Once again the synthesizers and drums are quite important to complete the diverting and psychedelic lyrics with an appropriate tempo and atmosphere.

Even though the band just started in the beginning of this year, we can already expect an huge amount of different styles and influences for the future.

Lowly already presented their memorable live performances on this year’s SPOT Festival in their home town and in Berlin at Our/Berlin Music Week and for this they definitely have the qualification to be part of Ja Ja Ja London club night on 30. October this year.

“Stones In The Water” will be released on 3. November 2014 alongside another track called “Forward” via their label WinWin Records.

As long as we can’t expect an official video to “Stones In The Water” you can do yourself a favor and listen to it on SoundCloud:
