“We’ve seen a couple of music videos. This is probably the best one ever”

– writes Noisey DK about the video live session Cancer made for their song “Body on the Bones”, which was released in late August as second single from the mini-album “Ragazzi”.

With or without irony – the video, that was recorded at singer Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild’s apartment “because he has got super loud neighbours”, indeed shows in its modest home-made character, what kind of simplicity and playful elegance stand behind Cancer’s arrangements.

And yet again – with “Body on the Bones” the musical symbiosis around When Saint Go Machine’s Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild and Chorus Grant’s Kristian Finne Kristensen created a somewhat bitter, yet fetching composition, with an atmosphere ranging from almost idle to more spirited.

The song’s live recording on YouTube is thereby a nice notification about the worldwide release of Cancer’s mini-album “Ragazzi” on 29. September 2014.

Until then you can stream “Body on the Bones” via Spotify or on the band’s Soundcloud page as single version or live recording.
