DK bands on EU summer festivals 2014 blog cover

For all music lovers out there, summer means only one thing… SUMMER FESTIVALS!

Each year we wait for them, we save money for them, we get excited about them. This year is no exception. Summer events all around Europe invited some pretty awesome bands to play – among them, also some great Danish artists! We decided to track them down. So, Good because Danish went through the line-up’s of MANY of European summer festivals and here are the results:

The bands that are playing A LOT in Europe this summer are definitely Volbeat, Trentemøller, Go Go Berlin, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour and . But you can catch some other groups, too! Find some of the festivals we recommend below.

This year’s cool line-up includes Tomas Barfod who is releasing his new album “Love Me” on 9. June, so be prepared for some really fresh stuff coming from stage!

We already know that the giants of rockabilly/heavy metal music are coming to play to the country’s VOLT Festival! Last year Turboweekend conquered one of the stages, now it’s time for Volbeat. They are one of the most famous Danish bands abroad and they tour A LOT this summer to prove it.

Lowlands Festival

The wonderful city of Hamburg will again provide sea-atmosphere and a dose of good music and chilling vibes during MS Dockville in August. The Hamburgers seem to really like Danish music and during the festival they will be able to enjoy concerts of two “Danish princesses” coming from very different ends of the music scene: and Broken Twin.
